Originally, I'd envisioned painting ducks from above (and still plan to)...but these coots captured my imagination and wouldn't let go until they became art.
May 11, 2006: "Water Ballet" was just juried into the 2006 Birds in Art show at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wausau, Wisconsin!

All of your paintings are so beautiful! This view from above is really interesting. Love your pintails too, don't see that many people paint them. The ravens are gorgeous also.
GREAT Paintings. Finally getting to sit down and look at them. The subjects, style and COLOR are wonderful.
Could not get into the travels but will try again later. Would love to see those pictures of your great world travels.
